Millennium: A New Hope is an indie adventure rpg with turn-based combat and with a girl named Marine as the main protagonist. The game starts off when her father gets hurt while protesting against the government of Mystrock. Marine is asked by her father to send a package to her grandfather and so the adventure begins.
The game offers 4 levels of difficulty, which is good for those seeking a challenge or for those who are casual players only interested in good storytelling. You also have the option for some guiding arrows which will appear on the screen and direct you to your objective.
The game world is amazingly large and you can get up to 30 hours of gameplay with over 40 quests and many hidden treasures. The storytelling is done by dialogue with other characters or cut-scenes which are a lot of fun to watch. The story itself is very intriguing with loads of new characters always joining the storyline. The world has an overall good sense of involvement because almost every person you'll meet on the way will interact with you one way or the other.
The gameplay is simple, you can move around with your mouse or keyboard and if you can interact with something the arrow icon will change to something else depending on what that thing is. The combat is turn-based which means that you have your turn to hit the enemy and he has his turn to hit you back. This is a very nice way to use a lot of strategies since you can give each of your own party members an individual enemy to attack or use a skill on. more
